These days your privacy is a joke. Fourth Amendment, although exists on the books, is not respected by police, prosecutors, courts, media, your neighbors, hackers, voyeurs, and everyone else with taste for others' dirty laundry

Do you think your medical information is confidential? Think again! If you are involved in an auto accident and brought to the hospital, police will know your blood alcohol content without a warrant! If detectives suspect you or just want to force you to talk, they can get subpoena in a few minutes and find out everything you confided to your psychiatrist or counselor. They can get a warrant just as easy to search your house and your computer. And once they discover anything embarrassing, they will not hesitate to disclose it to everyone, including your spouce, your neighbor, your employer, journalists, etc., or use it to blackmail you to get what they need.

Do you think your financial information is private? No!!! For detective it would take just a few minutes to view your credit history and all your credit card transactions, and not much longer to see your bank account statements.

Don't even mention NSA's Echelone that allows them to eavesdrop on all the radio communications outside the US (do you really believe they follow this rule?), or FBI's Carnivore that can intercept all the communications going through ISP, including e-mails and web browsing!

You definitely cannot make your privacy bulletproof, but you can make it much harder and less probable for someone to invade it. Please, read below why is it important to keep your private information secret, and how we can help you to do it.

Story of Dr. Dirk Greineder

Dr. Dirk Greineder, a prominent allergist, had secret passion to Internet pornography and frequently used services of prostitutes.

One morning he went out to jog with his wife, and they separated on their way. Some time during the jog she was murdered.

As a husband, Dr. Dirk Greineder was one of the primary suspects, and was investigated. His double life was discovered and exposed to the public. His interest in pornography and thrysts with prostitutes and alleged desire to silence his wife who was thought to discover his secret were introduced to the jury as the only motive to murder her. Not only was he humiliated in front of the whole world, he was convicted and is serving a life sentence.

We don't know whether Dr. Dirk Greineder was guilty or innocent. But we do know that if his secrets were not uncovered, the outcome of the trial could be completely different, or even there wouldn't be trial at all. We also know that his secrets bore no relevance to his guilt or innocence, and were used to humiliate him and distract the jury from the merits of case.

If you are investigated

No one expects it, but it can happen to everyone, including you!

Member of your family or your close friend or, the worst case, your ex could be found murdered or could die under mysterious circumstances. And in this unfortutate case, no matter how innocent you are or how bulletproof is your alibi or how clean is your criminal history, you will be a suspect, and you will be investigated.

In other cases you might not even be a suspect, but if detective thinks you know more than you are saying, you will be under scrutiny.

And, if you are investigated, police will not hesitate to disclose any embarrassing information to anyone, or use it to pressure you and to blackmail you.

They could even file charges and use it as a motive or as proof that relations between you and victim were poor, without any regard to your innocence. Like in the case of Dr. Dirk Greineder, prosecutors will use fact that you accessed porn to distract the jury from the merits of your case. And in many places, once you are charged, you will be convicted.

In case of divorse

Another possibility that many of us could face is a divorse.

No matter how good are your family relations now, most marriages end up in divorse, and it is often ugly. You can be sure your spouse will use your interest in pornography to smear you, to set the judge or jury against you, to point out that divorse is your fault, and, if there are children involved, to claim that you are an unfit parent.

There are even cases one spouse reports another one to CPS (or CFS or whatever this child-abusing, witch-hunting, kidnapping organization is called in your state), and the dirty card of "child endangerment" is being played. In this case parent could lose not only parental rights, but also a freedom.

How could it be found

If you are a suspect in criminal investigation, or if detective wants to squeeze some information out of you, it will take just a few minutes to get your credit history and all of your credit card transactions, and not much longer to get your bank statements and photocopies of your checks. In case of divorse, or if someone is suing you, all your financial records can also be subpoenated.

You think you pay by credit card and you are safe, because the name on your bill doesn't seem to have anything to do with porn. The truth is: It might fool your wife when she sees a charge from Cybernet Ventures or CCBill or Tri-Tech Inc., but it wouldn't fool a detective or a PI working for your ex's divorse lawyer. When they see these names, they know what is it. Same is true when you pay by check.

The next easiest thing to do after examining your financial records would be to go after records of several major AVS providers and billing companies that service adult web sites. It could often be done without subpoena, because law enforcement can always find ways to pressure them by threats of audit or by scrutinizing their activities and going after them each time some minor manages to pass through and gain access to porn. So, for as long as AVS provider or billing company know your identity, your secret can be uncovered.

If these two steps fail, the next thing to do would be to seize your computer and/or get records from your ISP. To begin with, every investigation, except the witch hunt conducted by Kenneth Starr, has its budget and time constraints. So, it is not probable that investigators will go this way any further. Secondary, it would require search warrant or subpoena, so, before doing this, detective or DA need to explain to a judge that there are serious reasons to do it. If you subscribe to our services, we will tell you how to protect yourself from these actions.

What do we do to protect you

Unlike other AVS providers, we don't accept payments by credit card or personal check. We accept cash and money orders only. They cannot be traced. Thus, we block the easiest way to uncover your habit.

True, with other AVS providers you can also pay by money order. But they still know everything about you, and might disclose it under pressure. Unlike them, after checking your age, we shred all the papers and the envelope, and know you by account number only. So, there is no way to get this information from us. Besides, we use virtually fault-proof method to verify your age, which means that law enforcement wouldn't have leverage to pressure us into secret recording of clients' identities. So, the second easy way is blocked, too.

As you already know, there are two other, although less probable, ways to discover your interest in porn: seize your computer and get records from your ISP. Although we don't do anything directly to protect you in these cases, once you become a subscriber, you will get access to our Privacy Protection Forum, where you'll find out how to mask your tracks at ISP and on your computer.

Other advantages of AAVS

In addition to taking all these steps to protect your privacy, AAVS will give you several other benefits.

You will gain access to our Privacy Forum where you will find valuable ideas on what else could be done to protect your privacy. You will also be able to offer your ideas, so, our knowledge on privacy protection will expand.

We don't compete with other AVS providers for the web sites to protect. Instead, we certify to them that there is a customer with undisclosed name who is an adult. We pay them from your payment to us, and they give you access to the same sites as they do for customers they found on their own. So, we can give you access to the same sites as other AVS providers.

If you subscribe to more than one AVS directly, you will pay the full price for each of them, even though you wouldn't spend full time with each of them. So, soon we will negotiate quantity discounts with AVS providers. It means that you can subscribe to more than one provider and get a significant discount.

We are offering our original encryption software for IBM PC 32-bit Windows operating systems. It utilizes unpublished encryption algorythm, which makes it virtually impossible to crack our code.

What are you waiting for?
